MAY 24 saw both men's league teams in action. The B team played Street B at Donyatt and after a very close match the visitors went away victorious taking ten points to Donyatt's two. The A team faired a lot better, playing against Imperial A, again at Donyatt. They reversed the score of the B side, taking ten points to Imperial's two.

On May 25, the ladies played in the Top Club Competition, away to Taunton Deane. This was a too bigger hurdle for them to climb, winning on one element out of the four, the fours by several shots. The singles went to Taunton Deane by the same margin but the pairs and the triples both lost quite heavily.

THE next couple of weeks are going to be quite busy for the Ladies with several league games and a couple of friendlies, both home and away. The next mixed friendly is at home, playing Honiton B C, starting at 2.30pm on Sunday, June 1.
