Grant helps to keep residents healthy

Rosedale Tenants and Residents Association held their first healthy Olympics on Saturday 29th September on their green thanks to a small grant from MHS Health Promotions Services at Pool Redruth.

Bags of fun were had by all who attended and joined in with sack races, Limbo, throw the welly, space hopper derby, a games of rounder's, goal shoot out and a big healthy BBQ with lots of salads.

Over all winners for the children's races were Milo, Zoe, Jamie and Jenny for the Adults.

"The weather was kind to us with our plan to engage all ages of our community to try to promote a healthy life style" reported Carol Jorey Chair person for the Association. "It was a fantastic opportunity to apply for such a grant and achieve our goal and we look forward repeating this event."
