SOUTH Petherton Infant School opened their doors to villagers, staff and pupils old and new to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the opening of their new school room today (Wednesday).

Governors, teachers and rectors gathered at the school where head teacher, Jenny Grazette, cut a cake and celebrated with a hoard of visitors.

The Bishop attended the event where he cut the cake for the celebrations, and there was also an open event in the morning where people could have a look around the school.
