Barbadian tanker Cariad (28,337/96) sailed from No. 2 dry-dock for Immingham. British coastal tanker Breaksea (998/85) arrived at the docks from Yelland, North Devon. Charity gig challengers

On July 29 a crew of six women will row from Falmouth to Cadgwith on The Lizard, leaving at 2.30 pm from the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club. They will be helping to raise money for Wellbeing for Women, the national charity which supports mothers and babies. and will be escorted part of the way by the Lizard lifeboat. Twenty-one years ago Nicky Jose, organiser of the sponsored row, lost her five-day old baby Ross because of a heart defect. "He would have been 21 this year and I wanted some way in which to commemorate this", she said. After Ross died, Nicky, already a successful rower in local competitions, organised a sponsored row to raise money for Birthright, the forerunner of Wellbeing.  more...
